This will be the eighth consecutive time when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the budget. There is also a possibility of getting huge tax exemptions.
Why is the budget released only on February 1?
The date of announcing or presenting the budget in the Parliament is currently the beginning of February i.e. February 1, but this tradition has not always been like this. Earlier, the Union Budget was presented on the last day of February, i.e. generally on February 28 instead of February 1. However, the Modi government had decided to change it. In 2017, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on behalf of the Modi government changed the tradition of releasing the budget at the end of February.

Along with the date, the time also changed
This rule was in practice since the British era in which the budget was presented on February 28, the Modi government changed it to February 1. Presenting the budget at the end of February caused some difficulty in implementing it in the upcoming financial year, because this time was a little less to start the budget tenure, so the date of releasing the budget was changed. Along with the date of the Indian budget, in the year 2017, the Narendra Modi government also changed the time of releasing it. Earlier the budget was released at 5 pm, which was changed to 11 am. Since then till now the budget is presented in the morning only.
