Kisan Credit Card (KCC) 2025 : Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made a big announcement for farmers in Budget 2025 today. In which the government has announced to continue the rebate on interest on loans up to Rs 5 lakh for farming through Kisan Credit Card in a financial year, which will prove to be very beneficial for the farmers.
Budget 2025 new Announcement on Kisan Credit Card Schemes
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has taken a big decision in the interest of farmers in Budget 2025. Now the central government has approved the exemption on interest of loans up to Rs 5 lakh for farming through Kisan Credit Card (KCC) in a financial year.
Let us tell you that earlier this limit was Rs 3 lakh. Under this scheme, farmers who repay the loan on time are given relief on interest. Kisan Credit Card Scheme is being run by the Central Government to provide financial assistance to the farmers. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial facility from SBI or other banks to the farmers for farming works in time if needed.

Through this Kisan Credit Card, farmers can take loan from the bank at a very nominal interest rate. In this, the government also provides the benefit of subsidy in interest rate and amount to the farmers who repay the loan on time. The advantage of this is that the farmer can take loan through this on need and he does not need to go to any moneylender in the village.
